Saturday, April 26th – Workshop 1pm-7pm
Sunday, April 27th – Workshop 12noon-6pm

This workshop is designed for all aspiring models and actors who would like to learn the fundamental basis of his/her craft.  The workshop is 6 hours and is broken down into three 2-hour sessions.

Modeling

  • Runway Techniques
  • Auditioning Techniques
  • Dos and Don’ts of the modeling industry
  • Head Shot Photo Shoot (A $200-$300 value)

Acting

  • Cold Reading Techniques
  • Auditioning Techniques
  • Dos and Don’ts of the acting industry
  • Head Shot Photo Shoot (A $200-$300 value)

Runway Techniques


Models will learn:

  • How to strut their stuff on the runway with confidence
  • How to walk with other models
  • Different poses
  • Proper stance and turns
  • How to work their outfits on the runway

  • What resume and zed cards should look like

Head Shot Photo Shoot


Models Will:

  • Receive a make-up lesson
  • Receive a make-up session for the shoot
  • 20 Headshot posses
  • CD with pictures of the shoot (sent by mail)
  • Note: Pictures can be used to start portfolio

Actors will learn:

  • How to warm up for cold reading
  • How to read with other actors

Workshop Fees

Modeling OR Acting Workshop
$200 per person – Saturday 1pm-7pm
Or Sunday 12noon—6pm
*Note: Will fill up the class for Saturday first before Sunday becomes available.

Deposit of $25 (non-refundable) is required to hold your space.  Balance due on Friday, April 25th at Open-Call Registration.  Attendance of informational Open-Call (5:30pm or 7:00pm held at Alameda Ballet Academy 1402 Park St., Alameda, 94501) is recommended but not required.  Registration must be paid in full if unable to attend.
